All our rates are based on dinner bed & breakfast for two guests.
Dinner is our tasting menu.

No need to rush off after dinner.
You are welcome to stay over in one of our four beautiful ensuite guest rooms
and wake up in this beautiful part of mid Wales.

The Checkers is perfectly located to explore the market town of Montgomery and the local area.
Walk up to the castle, visit the artisan shops, museums, vineyards and brewery.
Stroll along the River Severn or Offa’s Dyke path (both within walking distance of the restaurant),
visit the local golf course or explore the nearby Shropshire Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

All of our double rooms are equipped with Nespresso coffee & tea making facilities, 32in smart TVs,
complimentary Wifi, Bramley toiletries, crisp white bedding and homemade Welsh cakes.

All four of our bedrooms have their own individual character and charm.

If you would like to stay for additional nights we can offer these on a bed and breakfast rate.
If you would like to dine for more than one night we will prepare a new tasting menu especially for you.

We welcome guests to check in from 3pm and kindly ask that guests depart by 11am.
